OK now. Just about back to my “normal” after another trip to the ER (morphine, fentanyl, finally ketamine) in Jan for my lousy back. Lotta Percocet after. Seems finally getting the ole steroid injection a couple of weeks ago has done the trick again (5th? time in 30 years). Whew!How are you?
I have lower-back pain that is centered in bumps on each side that feel like fingers under the skin. Years ago, I got hydrocortisone shots in the bumps.
I was told it should take one to two weeks to start working, and should last between a month and forever. I was unable to walk for the first ten days.
It ended up providing relief for about eighteen months. I am considering getting them again, unless there is something new out that works better.
