As I mentioned in my introduction I build my own full metal trailer to sleep inside during my bike trip to Gibraltar next year.

They came through and lookin awful good Tommy. Keep us posted on the build?

Now that we are in the new year, my new Lee-sure Lite should be shipping out of Canada any day now:D. The excitement continues to build;), although won't be able to pull it til I get a hitch on the ST and get this right hand fixed!:(

Wow your build looks amazing... very clean build. I dont think I can put something like that together if it came as a kit. LOL.

Looking forward to seeing the end of it all.

Interesting. Is that an escape hatch in the floor, or maybe,, something else?

The hole in the floor is for my feet, if I sit inside. There will be a solid plastic well inside, that I can lower to the ground to step in.
I connect it with tent fabric to the trailer to keep bugs out.

The weight of the utility trailer without the cage is 78 kg.

Thanks for your compliments. Tom

That's pretty cool! Have you thought about the air resistance and possibly collapsing the front and back to a horizontal position while riding to reduce the profile and then setting it up with tent fabric in the center for use? Or, even a setup like the pop-up trailers have where the roof mates with the bottom and you just have support poles and tent fabric in the center? No matter how you do it, it's looking like a work of art.

Nice looking work. Can't wait to see this come together.
I have never pulled a trailer with a motorcycle before so I can't comment on any of this.
But sure do like the looks of it.

The cage is ready for welding.

@Mellow: I think the air resistance of the airstreams solid box will be much lower than of my Honda with me as driver !
