Now that's just plain ugly.
Someone must have some time on their hands to bring back this year old thread.
Might have something to do with the EICMA show being this week and H-D formally revealing the Pan-American and a few others.

Personally, I think it looks like Bender from Futurama. It'll still say "potato potato" when it's running, but now it'll do it with John DiMaggio's voice.

I can’t argue with you on that. I hope it looks better in person.
I’ll bet you can pick one up left over new cheap in a couple of years.
Oh, like the 2014 CTX1300? :rofl1:

Doesn't look any worse than a ST13 with the bags off!
The ST1300 was not meant to be BAGLESS! :well1:

But putting bags on the HD, won't help the looks at all!

The headlight and front cowl are questionable but overall I like the look of the bike.
I'm not big on the ADV look but I agree and am not liking H-Ds rectangular row of headlights. And the new CHP H-Ds have that ugly cowl again.

Do you think they mounted the pannier high enough!! LOL Just try to swing you leg up over those to mount this thing.
Fair point. You have to mod your mount/dismount from prima ballerina (as demoed by Capt. Crash's daughter) to a Bruce Lee side kick. :rofl1: Having the panniers up that high may also through off the CG a skosh but it makes getting at the rear wheel/tire bits a little easier.

It's not my favorite design, and I'd never buy one, but I kinda like the looks of it. I also appreciate the looks of older classic bikes, but I don't want to own one of those either. I'm just too practical... much more function over form.

Hmmmm, just because you can shouldn't always be a reason to do something.
But, when you mix sipping whisky and modociccles what does one expect.
