On June 7th we rode up Khardung La (Pass) a second time on our return from the Nubra Valley; this time from the North side of the range. Still rough with more water and mud from the snow melt.

Nothing can compete with that rough 4 hours to the hospital in the truck not knowing the full extent of the damage.
Thanks for the concern though, Ash.
I wasn't the only casualty that day....Tashi's bike needed to be swapped due to many broken teeth on his sprockets.

Welcome home George. I 've been in the states (Atlanta) almost 20 hours catching up on things
Heading to Little Rock for a National Square Dance convention. While there, I hope to get the collar bone set by an orthopedic surgeon. It is sticking out and hurts quite a bit.
If anyone knows of a good orthopedic surgeon in or near Little Rock, please let me know.

Enjoyed the company Danny and would do it again. I was worried you were being a little too active too early in the game and travelling most likely didn't help the bone set as well as it could. 20 hrs in Atlanta probably broke loose any mending that had taken placeWelcome home George. Ugh! Not enuff sleep. Trees are trimmed, mostly unpacked, Jury Duty questionnaire answered, appointment with broker set, mail gone thru and mostly tossed. Tomorrow, clean the patios and spray for bugs and pack for Saturday.
On the jury duty, asked to be excused 'til 7/17. We'll see.
