I have always said Honda should bring back an updated GL1200.I've been thinking that Honda should make a New Goldwing with a smaller similar chassis and a 1350 cc six cylinder engine with a weight of 650 lbs dry. If they did it would be perfect

hmmm.. maybe a 1250 cc motor that you could put in a Touring, Sport and ADV package.... hmmmmmm LOL

Yeah that would be the boxer. Excellent motor and package but imho the flat 6 that honda makes is in a class of its own if put in a sport touring or light touring package.
Yup. Out the door price with ext warranty and optional foot shifter was almost $47K Cdn.ah... you broke your wallet more w/1800 than a 1250 ever would..
I agree... but Honda has a lot of irons in a lot of fires and when something won't produce high profits it doesn't make sense... our hobby participants are decreasing in volume so... well, there you go.
