Joe, I'm STill on a STock seat but considering options. A friend has a Biker's items STore, and can add a gel pad to my ST. He's done this for ST's in the past. I'm curious what others think of doing this for the solo saddle?

Please move this to the correct forum sir.:07biker::)

I have a Corbin collecting dust in my garage. You are more than welcome to try it out. It might just work for you.

I came to the conclusion about 200k miles ago, unless you're gonna spend the really big bucks, the stock is no worse/better then aftermarkets.

Just did a one day ride of 863 miles on a Corbin/Air Hawk combo. At 54 years old that was a heck of a deal.

Could only go about 4 hours on the "Spencerized" seat and had to start hopping around on the seat to releive different parts. To be sure the "Spencerized seat is a great improvement over the stock.

I have my solution now. Moonshine in one day, (1183 miles) hmmmm.

This is Whisper from Greenwood, SC. I am looking to getting a Corbin seat. Are you interested in selling your Corbin seat?

Actually saw a guy riding an old CB something last week without a seat! No so much as a piece of foam or anything. All I could say was "Idiot!"

The best farkle I ever put on my ST (and I put a lot on it :) ) was the Russell Day Long. If I were to to it all over again I would buy the same thing.

Russel Face.jpgThe Russell looks mega-comfortable .. but it looks like an orangutang's face mounted on a sport bike! Can't get past that look ..

You may want to try to find another owner locally who has a Corbin. Ask if you can take it for an extended test ride before you decide if you would consider buying one.

Seats are such a personal choice. What some say are great, others detest.

I have a Corbin and it's better than the stocker. How much is hard to say.

Good luck.

Btw: Is that some form of Eastern-European dialect you're typing? Just kidding.

I went the Cee Bailey's route. I've always had good luck with their shields and when they said they make seats for the US Air Force jet fighter's I was sold. Anyway sent a stock ST1300 seat pan to them and from the pics this is what I got. It's call carbon fibre weave in vinyl. I like it so far. I've got about 5 hours on it and they suggest a 20 hours break-in period. There is lots of memory form in it and you slowly sink in as it warms up.
I will report back later with more review info.

p.s. It is still adjustable for the 3 height positions as per the stock seat

How much did this seat cost it looks real nice and the memory foam if it is similar to bedding memory foam sounds like a real nice addition.

Hello DRexNL on The Rock: $425.00 USD plus shipping from California. Just breaking it in now. Seat pretty stiff on cold mornings but gets spongy as it warms up. Jury still out till I break it in at 20 hrs. as they Cee Bailey's tells you. If this doesn't work I'll be looking at a Russell.

Well, I am amending my vote to Russell with a backrest and an Airhawk! Of course, I have now spent more on my seat than I did for my first bike:)
