Hello again,
I was out of town for a while and i will be leaving again in short time , this time for holiday at last. I had a chance to work on the bike yesterday and my morals are down a bit..
So the speed gear and diaphragms for the carburetor arrived but needles are still on the way, should arrive next week. So started with the front wheel..
Abs sensor, i was afraid this one.. Cable was already broke.Cut the rubber hoping only to solder the wires together but the they were falling apart like sand just by touching them so had to go deeper to get a strong wire to solder.
I checked manual for wiring and tried to some testing. The lamp gets + from battery and should get - from the sensor but no go.. I am not sure about the wire colors and tried different variations, checked with voltmeter ,no result. Ground goes in but does not comes out. Checked with the forum here looking for a substitute and found about Honeywell, will order today. Any advice is appreciated.
With a broken will moved to the rear wheel.
After assembling the rear wheel a had to search the garage for rear axle, after half an our i found it in the anti-rust acidic solution. I remembered putting it there before i left the city about 3 weeks ago.Should stay in there for an hour only..
This is how i found it.The tip of the axle , spacer and nut was completely melted.. Well,at least it was clean :banghead:
Another 25€ to the bill and that will be all for now.. Thank you all for your comments and hope to see you again in 2 weeks with more work..
