ST1300 Under mirror auxiliary light bracket

Looks good. Appears the only interference is the bracket exiting the mirror housing where the rubber boot is.

That is correct Skip I might play with a slit or I might just leave it but there is no interference from the Deflector and the mirror has full movement.

how are you guys mounting the on/off switches for all the lights you have? I want to do something similar but not a big wiring mess!
Thanks!

Why did it take me this long to find this thread?

Cannot have enough forward hazard lights for traffic escorts.

(Left some questions regarding the product over at the vendors thread)

ok, being new to the bike and all... how do you get the mirrors off to mount these? I just got a set and well hopefully I don't have to disassemble the front end! And, hopefully someone has a quick answer !

You mean they don’t come with instructions or a video?

I dont have a set, infact im waiting for answers to my questions, but I think thee installation can be summed up as:

1. Remove the mirror farings. They are designed to pop off when bumped into (mirror strikes). They are held in place with 3 male/female spring metal sockets. Just pop them on the mirror side with the palm of your hand, or pull them away from the bike. There should be a plastic keeper that prevents them from falling to the ground.

2. There’s a mounting bolt (see pic below) below the mirror. Use that as oriented in the picture (which is in the OP).

3. Attach your light module/pod and wire it up, and test it. Repeat for other side.

4. Replace the mirror farings.

SOCAL (Charlie) - Where did you get these lights from? Amazon? I really like the look. How well do they work?

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I can't get these things in there. I've got the fairing deflectors also. Is that the issue?

So with the help of Steve above by phone I was able to get them mounted but I don't have the clearance for full mirror movement and does not hit the correct viewing angle for me. Anyone have the same issue and remove any material?
I've sent Charlie (SoCal ST8) a PM yesterday afternoon but haven't heard back from him yet?

The brackets were designed very close the the mirror cover and would not work with deflectors installed.

They used to be available on Amazon but has since been replaced with newer styles. Search Amazon for LED driving lights. Should be around $25 a pair.

Update: Recommended light unit of 1lb or lighter on PSR auxiliary brackets. (heavier light units will cause brackets vibrating excessively and should not be used)
