I bought a used Wilbers shock , with the compression tank on flexible hose . Two adjustment screws on the tank. Tell me I did good . Any one have suggestion to where to mount the tank ? Or a photo. I hadn't thought about that . Thanks !
Won't quite work for a ST1100 unless you wanted to cut a hole in the side panel.
Mine is a Hagon, I just have a remote and it’s attached to the grab rail,PM Kiltman, pretty sure he has one on the 11
Well , thats not going to happen. Might be a spot behind the right panel or grab rail. It dosen't have a hand adjuster knob , just the red and blue sett screws. Will just have to see, when it gets here.Won't quite work for a ST1100 unless you wanted to cut a hole in the side panel.
@sirepair (he has a Hagon with an adjuster on his ST1100P) mounted his adjuster on the grab rail IIRC.Well , thats not going to happen. Might be a spot behind the right panel or grab rail. Can you ask the previous owner where the reservoir was located?
Nothing worse than that.....may also stop the curious from twiddling your knobs...

Not a bad idea ! He sendt some photos ,of the canister mount , tucked in the tail. I also found a Wilbers set up "guide". They got a little wrinkled on the way home. Can you ask the previous owner where the reservoir was located?
It's a lovely looking piece of kit. Would be a shame to hide it, but may also stop the curious from twiddling your knobs...

That's what preload adjusters do.Nice ! What does it do ? adjust preload on the spring ?
