The NT1100 Thread

The ST13 will outrun the NT1100

It would be nice if the NT1100 had the Auto up/down windshield which I use a lot of.

It would be nice if it had the drive shaft instead of chain drive. Just hate the re-oil chain during touring and the occasional chain/sprocket change when due.

The ST13 Honda final drive oil based is like no/low maintenance.

Did 312mi on the Harley yesterday and left hand is telling my brain to consider DCT. Again. Great thread. @Uncle Phil - Who gets credit for music in your Hardknott Pass video?
The credit is at the end - Andy Leftwich on his Ride Album - the tune is called Sharktooth.
He was Ricky Skagg's fiddler in Kentucky Thunder for many years.
He's a mighty fine feller - I've met him and talked to him in person.

Yes, all good points. I rode my 2005 ST for 180,000 miles. It took me on many long trips fast and fun. I thought I would always be riding a ST1300 for most of the time I owned it but guess what? Things change, priorities change and the motorcycle under me goes away to be replaced with another one. As good as the ST1300 was I don't want another one and the NT1100 is just right for me now. Enjoy the bike while the enjoyment lasts.

If the NT had all the stuff that the ST1300 has then it would be an ST not an NT. That why I did not trade my FJR for my NT11. Have them both and enjoy the differences of both bikes. Your money. Ride what you Like and Like what you Ride.
