The ST13 will outrun the NT1100

It would be nice if the NT1100 had the Auto up/down windshield which I use a lot of.

It would be nice if it had the drive shaft instead of chain drive. Just hate the re-oil chain during touring and the occasional chain/sprocket change when due.

The ST13 Honda final drive oil based is like no/low maintenance.

Yes, all good points. I rode my 2005 ST for 180,000 miles. It took me on many long trips fast and fun. I thought I would always be riding a ST1300 for most of the time I owned it but guess what? Things change, priorities change and the motorcycle under me goes away to be replaced with another one. As good as the ST1300 was I don't want another one and the NT1100 is just right for me now. Enjoy the bike while the enjoyment lasts.

If the NT had all the stuff that the ST1300 has then it would be an ST not an NT. That is why I did not trade my FJR for my NT11. Have them both and enjoy the differences of both bikes. Your money. Ride what you Like and Like what you Ride.

I really like the NT…the only thing I wish it had as compares with my ST1100 is the storage compartments in the left and right fairing. That’s such a useful feature, so why leave them out??? Even the Silverwing has them, which is really convenient.

Excellent words. Comparing the two bikes is like comparing a nectarine and a peach. Both are fruit. Both taste delicious. Both are great. Which you like the most might just vary depending on your mood that day.
