Advice on purchase of 2016 ST 1300

Expanding on that, a lot of us have keys made to keep in the panniers as well as the left side pocket. Convenient, but not absolutely necessary unless you need to jump start the bike.

The PA has "unlockable" panniers. I keep my left side locked with all my recovery gear, my right side is empty and stays unlocked to put my helmet in at stops.

Very good tips, @ST Gui!
Especially about the deceptive speed... most of us with 10s of thousands of miles or more, learn this and know how to manage the phenomenon.
But VERY good advice for new-to-the-ST riders, especially approaching curves.
It's lovely - but can be spooky - how quickly we can travel at high speed, without being aware.
Especially because it is so smooth and free of drama, at elevated mph.

Hi fellows,
I went thru all the plastic and I can see that I have everything except for the following:
- Mirror covers and the turn signal light assemblies. The mirrors are there but no covers.
- The glove boxes are both missing as well.
- The front inner trim around the radiator is also missing.
I am going to get the battery, and the fluids etc. so we can crank it up and take it for a short spin. Next I'll tackle the fairings.
If anyone can help with the mirror covers with the integrated turn signal, and the glove boxes, I would appreciate it.
