I'm surprised at how much this bike scrapes the pegs and then I took a closer look. This doesn't look factory.

I'm selling the bike, and a guy who had one previously noticed them.

The person who owned it before me was about 6'3" and maybe he did it for leg room? It's doesn't look like a LOT but I'd like to know your thoughts.

Am I right or am I wrong? Do they scrape a lot?

Best,

Jim

I am sure you can take the pins out and move the pegs up and in to the original position. All the OEM parts are still there. That should keep them tighter to the frame and higher. Then you just drag the outside of your shoes first

Just an F.Y.I. if you are thinking of selling them. Those are MCL (Motorcycle Larry) non-adjustable rider foot peg lowering brackets. You can probably sell them easily as they are no longer being manufactured and they are more sought after than the adjustable ones.

I was not asking to purchase them as I don't need them. You were questioning whether or not they were factory equipment. I was letting you know that they are not. I was also letting you know what they are so that you would know what you have if you chose to post them for sale.

@St-Gerard asked for them first, he has dibs.

The driver foot pegs are the same P/N for the 1100 and the 1300 so the brackets should fit the 1100. Hopefully someone will confirm.

Yes it is. I would think they would, based on the photo I posted which wasn't very good, do they look the same?
Will go take a good look at my bike in the morning,11:00 pm ,past bed time, and me tried from working on my bike hauling trailer and cleaning house for Mother's Day. Talk soon.

When i did my 1100 i got the cbr1100xx lowering brackets that also fit the st1300. I had to do a little filling to make them fit. Unfortunately the thread that shows what i did is gone

Those are motorcycle larry peg lowering blocks. I would love to buy those from you if you were interested in doing so.
I've owned them before and are no longer available.
They will scrape and for sure and can't put toes under the shifter pedal when making left turns but im 6'2. Those are a great asset to my knees and ankles,,,,lol
Let me know pls

Good afternoon, so in my search for info and looking at the bike, Amazon has the CBR 1100xx lowering kits available for $63 Canadian, which look like the ones Luftmeister has. Being in Canada, I know shipping is going to be expensive. So passing on dibs to Angelmx107.

I sure appreciate that Sir. I will look them up.
