I know what you mean. In my past border crossings, most often I found the US agents to be rather officious and rarely crack a smile.

Crossing the border, I find the smile and nod method works best with a liberal use of "yessir" or "yes maam". Going either way. They have more power than police and are grumpier.

Uncle Phil hasn't been on here since Monday around 6am. Waiting for the "pulled into the holler" message from him.

It's about 27hrs / 1800 miles (per Google), not including any construction delays, bio breaks etc.

Just landed back in the Holler, SweetTreat is unloaded and Big Bertha is back at UHaul.
Been some long days but it's done and ...
