1st 4-stroke
Feb of 1970 I picked-up a 69 Triumph TR6-C for $1,100. out the door. It had been used as a parts bike and I had to wait for a new seat and headlight. Didn't want the factory mufflers that were on back-order, so the dealer threw on a set of shorties. Crazy thing was I had to ride it to the Norton dealer-ship to get my deposit back from a beautiful blue 750 scrambler. The 1969 Norton was listed @ $1,400. Those were the days all right, even tho I was only making $2.05 an hour...
