Nice pics Joe.
Thanks for surprising us with your visit.
A simple tarp under the tent would be fine.

Olympus Tough TG-2Good trip, great camera. what is the camera?
I adjusted my route when I saw you on that lower AZ/NM part via your spot.. thanks!I was on but in the other direction.
The purpose is to protect the tent, I would go with a cheapo poly tarp from walmart as it's probably tougher, but also noisier..How good is a plastic painter's "drop cloth" to put under the tent?
But, you missing out great picture of me watering wild flowers along the road and Bob Harvesting beans/corns though
Thanks for the ride Joe. For those of you that have never traveled with Joe, he doesn't know how to pitch his tent in the daylight or break camp in the light. Up before the sun and down after the sunsets!!!
LOL.. looks who's talking, you're typically 100 miles away after 2 cups of coffee before I even unzip my tent..
