That's my current look. It seems they just slide on? Nothing really holding them on the bracket besides two slider pins??? I was able to screw it in further after mounting the brack on the swing arm like you.mentioned
So I'm also trying to take the brake pad holder pin out. Unscrewed it with a screwdriver and cant seem to get the rod outIt looks to me like one of the pad slider pins and holds the caliper together. Should also have a rubber boot on it......
Correct, note for future, break those loose before the bracket is removed. It comes out with (I think) a 5mm allen key. The brass screw is just a cap...
New to this. My bad. Juat has been frustrating.Don't think I am being nasty, but, having been where you are many times in the last 50-odd years, I now take lots of photos before and during disassembly of new bikes, cars etc...
I know exactly how you feel - some of my major screw-ups are currently in Newlyn harbour!!New to this. My bad. Juat has been frustrating.
