So far so good , I have done the first 1000 miles on my bike.
The engine is a gem and fuel efficient.
I replaced the standard windscreen with the largest CalSci screen, no more buffetting and an invisible hand pulling your head forwards , wonderful!!
You do not need to raise it too much and this gives you the better angle and wind protection for your hands. Took it up to 100MPH and still absolute comfort.
Another story is the seat, not good, it will be replaced by a Russel seat . I have one on my KLR and I love it since the miles are longer on a KLR
A power socket is a must on a bike like this so I added one inside the right pocket . The socket fits nicely inside the small niche on the left and the plugs stay dry this way
I am considering handlebar risers, is there much difference between the Helibar and MCL risers ? I have seen some old posts that they are more or less the same but Helibar touts contineous improvement so the 2010 riser plates may be different. MCL has a special going on the risers at this moment , but the higher priced Helibars seems to have more rise and pullback . Let me know if they are worth the extra money.
