over kill maybe ??

I see more and more of this color on the road. It does stand out.

in the EU they are trying to make all motorcyclist wear a reflectife top, Bib, waistcoat, or full jacket, thinking go one further

I wish the HJC modular came in Hi Viz. Your head is the highest point, good idea to make it very visible. You would have a better chance of being seen in traffic. To me it really isn't a fashion show and you can't really see the color when you have it on anyway. :)

Go for it. My next lid will be either yellow or white.

I'm waiting to try on a Shark Evoline 2 - I like the idea of being able to ride a modular helmet with the chin-bar in the "up" position - I just hope the Evoline will fit my head.

I have a Nolan Yellow helmet but it is more like the yellow color that is used on the stripe on the road or hwy. I wish it was the color your asking us about as it matches my Tour Master jacket much better

Even a white helmet is a huge difference. I'm not sure if these are more or less visible than a white one but I have seen both on the road and they both stand out more than any other helmets, even the chrome ones.. LOL

thats true, he in the UK my understanding is that the law has changed, in so much as using the "I DID NOT SEE HIM OFICER" will no longer cut the mustard

Your right "not over kill" trip to the cycle shop is in order, me thinks

I wear an EXO-900 vi-his helmet and a First Gear hi-vis jacket. In my mind, you want to be in contrast to your surroundings to be noticed. More and more road crews are wearing hi-vis instead of the traditional orange. People are being conditioned to notice the hi-vis and slow down. I wish both my helmet and jacket had diagonal strips because it would contrast the horizontal and vertical lines most seen in the surroundings. Regardless of what you wear, still understand that in some circumstances, it won't matter. I got hit on July 4th, 2010 in my neighborhood. They flat out didn't look!

I've not noticed my helmet fading at all over time, but the top surfaces of my jacket have faded a little.

I wanted a high-viz helmet and clothing anyway, but it was confirmed when I rode with Larry and Lexi on their Maine ride. Just having the high-viz helmet made him VERY visible, even in the middle of the sunny day. It only got better at night. I ordered my high-viz EXO-900 a couple days ago, and can't wait to wear it this spring.

low light they are also very very visable......Which is what I like. My next set will be very close....

Got a friend that I ride with 3-4 times a year, he just bought a new Black Harley Road Classic, wears a Black helmet, Black leather jacket, just put a Black top box on and all the roads we ride around on here are Black asphalt. I told him that at times when I'm behind him he almost blends into the road!

I'm all for the neon yellow. White was supposed to be the better colour, but I find white helmets blend in at times with the background. Yellow doesn't seem to do that.
