Glad to hear things are going well! The hardest part of any healing is the sitting, doing nothing to "let it heal"!

Hang in there, this will soon pass too! ;)

Good to hear UP! Take care and it will be better soon but I am sure not soon enough for you as I would not like that.

Phil, I'm glad to hear that everything is going well. Was this caused by hard twisting of the right grip on the 1100's?

Best wishes for continued success in your recovery. You are too ornery to stay down long.

Somehow missed this, UP. Glad it all went well for you. I hope the rest of your recovery goes swiftly.

I am hoping to get out of the 'hard' brace Thursday when I go back to the therapist. If they fit me for a soft brace, then I might just be able to work that front brake and throttle... :D
Sounds like a great DR, who did you say he was? :rofl1:

Take care of the body you have now...while you are with us. The newer model knows how to fly... and you may not be ready for that. I know you're prepared... but probably not ready!

???? Sorry, I don't get your point.:think1:

The 'medical' name is a CMC Arthroplasty (google it - you might find it interesting).
My doctor does happen to be good at it as the usual recovery is 4-6 months and I'm only 1 month out. :D

LOL....:duck: some thoughts just go over people's heads...;)

I was just thinking of what you said earlier,

That if your Doc knew about that...he might keep you in the "hard" brace, you know, for YOU'RE own protection! ;)

Well, if he knew what I'd already been doing, I'd probably be in a full cast to my shoulder! :D
What's been so hard with this surgery is normally the therapists are pushing, pushing, pushing.
This time they are treating my hand like it's made out of glass.
But he explained there was a lot of soft tissue damage that has to heal first.

Well, just make sure you let it heal, before you start abusing it again! ;)

At our age, you can't be too quick to jump back up on that horse!:
