Hey Jeff, Hope you know the difference between Monolock and Monokey. I came close to purchasing a E470 case from Givi or the Kappa K49. Doing some homework and comparisons, I decided to go with the E55 Maxia 3 Tech from Givi. Take a look at Twisted Throttle out in RI (Rhode Island) web: www.twistedthrottle.com
They are very competitively priced and you get free shipping to boot. Revzilla is anither site that I go to for add ons. The topcase is all black and got the additional Admore light kit for braking and turn signals. Cost 328$ plus the 138$ light kit.

Cheers!

How about Two!

Although I need to update my picture now that I have a rack on the blue bike! :D

So here is the 2010 and 2004#1(or #2) with their topcases and racks.

I also have topcases for the 2012 and both of the 2004s.

One of these days I'm going to get them all running at the same time and take a picture of them! ;)

I just added the E52 to my 2012. Haven't even had the "boss" out for a ride to try it on for size and comfort yet, so I sure hope it fits her! :)

Decided to go with the Coocase Astra 50. Couldn't understand why my order kept getting flagged. Came to find out that the MoTech mount was no longer available, yet was still being advertised. Any-who, with some scrap aluminum plate and a hand drill it's mounted, just need to add the backpad and some more LED lighting for rear visability.

After searching and researching all week, I decided to order the Shad Sh50 in gloss black today. It appears to be well built and I like the looks of it. How well does the universal mount work? )Usually universal anything makes me nervous) Can't wait to get it mounted and I think my SO will appreciate the back rest.

He's mine on my 03 1100P. Light is hooked to brake light. Hoping that I'll be seen and not hit from behind ever again!

Arrived Friday and got it mounted last night (had to go to the Reno Air Races over the weekend darn it). Installation was pretty straight forward. Mount is more than beefy (and kind of heavy - 2 pounds of steel). Too bad they did not fabricate it in aluminum instead. Anyways - very sturdy setup. Still waiting for the gloss black cover and 3rd brake light to arrive from Shad. Removing the box is a breeze & very well built in my opinion. I think I may look into having the lock cylinder re-keyed to the bike key. Anybody try to do this? I'll report back if I'm successful.
