Where did you ride today?

Sadly the wind was mostly a side wind. Weatherman says Today is gonna be the windy day.......wth......the good news it's from the N today i can even the wear on my tires.....lol
 
Woke up at 04:00 this morning and got some chores done so I decide to take an early morning ride down along the North Fork of the South Platte River. Another one of my fav rides. Rode the V-Strom because there was some dirt road riding and the V-Strom was already dirty / dusty. Left the house at 06:00 and was back by 09:00. 110 miles and many more smiles. Got my attitude adjusted just in time for the weekend.

Rode the bike to church today. We had a graduation of two guys from Damascus House. They stay there for six months. It's not technically a alcohol / drug rehab place because you have to test clean to enter the program, but that's where their background is. While there, they end up doing a bunch of physical work like yard work and they get intensive Biblical training.

It changes lives.

Oh, and then I washed the bike this afternoon/evening.

238 miles today riding home from MNSTOC. Rode in rain for a few hours starting out then the second half the sky cleared. The first half of the trip the sky was choked with clouds and rain and was totally overcast even when the rain stopped. The last 50 miles there were no clouds anywhere to be seen. Rode a total of 719 miles on this event.

Notice I didn't say I didn't ride due to rain. I rode anyway or I'd miss the event. That's what rain suits are for.
