The hoses are younger than that as I replaced the two on the thermostat housing 6yrs ago iirc. The 3/16diam stuff is new last 2yrs. The left side is clean so I think it was all from the right side.Agree with ToddC. Clean it up really well, that will likely take a few iterations. Your leak looks like it's been there for a while. You may want to disconnect the leaky hose and inspect the metal connections for corrosion and replace them if you can't clean them up completely.
Yours hoses are 'only' 11 years old, so an inspection and checking the security all the clamps may be sufficient.
Hose material is in a whole other dimension since the 1960's. I have a 2010 SUV that just turned 170000 miles. No leaks, no drips, nothing loose, hoses feel new and look near new. I DO replace the serpentine belt about every 60000 miles...installed third new one a few weeks back...much easier than on the ST1100, but you don't have to be concerned with that.The hoses are younger than that as I replaced the two on the thermostat housing 6yrs ago iirc. While you have the tupperware off, you might replace the plastic T on the right side of the bike just below the cylinder head with a brass T. It's been said if it has not broken yet, it will.So, I think the right side 3/16in (5mm) hose was leaking.
That stupid thing broke the first time I touched it. I now have a stainless steel T fitting.While you have the tupperware off, you might replace the plastic T on the right side of the bike just below the cylinder head with a brass T. It's been said if it has not broken yet, it will.
Did you find a one piece T fitting, or have to use segments like I did with my brass one?That stupid thing broke the first time I touched it. I now have a stainless steel T fitting.
I found a solid one at a beer brewing supply online. It's hose barbs are 3/16in and then i had to add a straight 3/16 x 1/4in iirc.Did you find a one piece T fitting, or have to use segments like I did with my brass one?
Where exactly is this "Plastic T"? I can't remember seeing one last time I had my ST 1300 apart (throttle body off), and from what you have said, it sounds like it would be prudent to replace it with a metal T fitting.While you have the tupperware off, you might replace the plastic T on the right side of the bike just below the cylinder head with a brass T. Right side just aft of the radiator.Where exactly is this "Plastic T"? I can't remember seeing one last time I had my ST 1300 apart (throttle body off), and from what you have said, it sounds like it would be prudent to replace it with a metal T fitting.
A picture of the T, showing the location, would be much appreciated.

Wow! You're very lucky, but a lottery ticket quickly!My 2005 with 207,000 miles still with the OEM tee fitting. I replaced all the hoses at 116,000 miles. IIRC 16 or 17 hoses.
Thanks Andrew, really kind of you to dig out that old photo of mine, and also to provide the photo showing the necessary parts.Micheal;
You just need a little nudge to refresh your memory. You have already taken a picture of this fitting's location and posted it for the benefit of others. See your post here

I looked at my moto, and it still has the plastic part installed. Now I have a project to do this week.

The brass tee fitting is the idea of @Kevcules, and the photo is also his. I stole it from another of his posts.and also to provide the photo showing the necessary parts.
