Little does anybody except dad know, there is no 10mm wrench in there. That is remnants of all the sets Dad bought because they were cheap and he could take the 10mm wrench out to replace the ones he lost

OK, how about a 9/16" then?

If you don't get the humor from a joke or cartoon in seconds, it won't be funny after an explanation.

He's from Austria, hence the metric comment.

I have 3 cars made in North America (specifically the US), and all 3 are metric.

Everything from the early 80' s was cursed with Metric and SAE , except Japanese cars and Bikes.
I remember.....this was my introduction to Torx fasteners, along with the metric/SAE mix. The headlight bulbs on our 1980 was held into the mount with three different size Torx screws....2.5mm, 3mm and 3.5mm...six total including the ones that fastened the frame to the bulb and the bulb into the adjuster assembly. This was before Torx was generally available, other than at a GM dealership. Had to order them individually from a local auto parts store....no sets. The 2.5 and 3.5 were not available, but had to order/buy them from my dealership.
That was also the period where you could sit on your front porch and watch the car rust.

And GM went to Pozi drive for the interior Screws, what is Crazier is it took the Cx/Gl Forum to tell me about "Japanese Industrial Standard" screw heads ,40 years of working on Japanese cars and Bikes and not one Teacher,or Snap-on / Mac tools guys even know about them. Oh yeah Snap - On still doesn't have them. G

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
There was a command you could put into the modem properties that would force it to hold open bandwidth.
"AZT"
I ran a 256 mb modem with this and often got as much as 56mb download speeds!

Speaking of political correctness creeping into our language, you can’t buy “pipe cleaners” anymore. Those fuzzy bits of wire that used to be called pipe cleaners are now called “fuzzy sticks.”. Why? Well because if they had anything to do with tobacco you can’t let children use them— even for arts and crafts.
You might be sending a message to the children that pipe smoking is OK.
