'Cross winds' springs to mind.
They were on my mind during the design and build stages, but I went ahead thinking the profile is smaller than a pillion, the COG is lower than a pillion, and it should carry more than my usual pillion would .'Cross winds' springs to mind.
All those sizes are more or less the same size externally and visually. They may be half an inch off from one another. The ST is a big bike, they won't look out of place.I have an 05 Dk red St1300and want to get a Top Box and Im concerned with size. This is an ago old question, Does Size matter? Is the Givi 52 two big and bulky looking on the back or should you stick with something smaller. I think they offer a 46 or 48. I dont' really plan on packing alot of junck but I do understand the more storage capability may be needed sometimes. Basically I want to know which looks more suited for the bike.
I have the Bestem 2012 t-box and find that's plenty big enough for what I need to carry. Every big once in a while I end up with something that is just way too big, even for a 55 liter case, so that ends up on the back seat. But 99% of what I carry in a top case goes in my 42 liter 2012 t-box.I have an 05 Dk red St1300and want to get a Top Box and Im concerned with size. This is an ago old question, Does Size matter? I just got a Bestem T-box. I like the quality. I am making a mount for my 1100 now. 1/8' steel 10"x10" plate and bushings. I would upload the instructions, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to upload a photo. It asks for a URL HTTP:\ I don't know what to put there...The BESTEM T box is great. I was going to mount my box today but cannot find the instructions. Sure would be grateful to anyone that can scan a copy. I think it will be great too for passengers. I'll post a picture once it gets mounted

Info on lock replacement can be found on the ST-Riders.net site. You may want to join that site too as there is a good bit of ST1100 info there.
