Did not feel like fighting Denver Traffic to get to the mountains so I took the new bike out South East to Elisabeth, then looped south to Elbert, and then back north to Kiowa and then on home.108 miles by odometer. Beautiful day and the prairie grasses were green for a change. We have had some pretty severe thunderstorms out east this last couple of weeks that has keep the vegetation green instead of the normal brown.

I see the "What did you do to your ST today?" thread is up to 365 pages. Maybe it's time we have an ongoing "Where did you ride today?" thread. It might be nice to hear where and how long other ride when you get a chance to ride.

You ride to work? You go for a short day ride? You just back from a long ride?

We may as well start a thread an tell each other how great any ride we had was when we ride.

I just did a short get out and about 20 mile ride. I rode down Pensacola's Scenic Highway which meanders down the western edge of Escambia bay Florida. Looped back through town and back to the house. The old ST1300 is running fine and the weather was blue skies and near 85 degrees. Great day for a ride.

Took the ST1100 out and rode the very long way to get the pint of milk the Mrs wanted via the Somerset levels UK on a perfect June day with a great 19c and a cool evening breeze.About 40 miles there and back.

It was a really nice Sunday so I went for a Sunday ride. Rode out to the locally famous tree farm where many still buy their Christmas trees and other landscaping stuff. Rode 77 miles today.
Started the ride with 97 miles on the tank of gas. I have a 3.7 gallon tank. I decided to wait until the end to fill the tank just to see how far I would go. Ended up with 173 miles on that tank of gas and only put in 3.1 gal. Doing a bit of math shows that I had another 33 miles to go... or a total of 206 miles for the tank. I think that's the best so far since I brought the bike home new a little more than a month ago. I expect the mpg to go up from what it starts out with when new. I calculated 55.7 mpg.

had Big-Ced take me out to Josh's house so i could pick up the Nighthawk 550sc. had a nice ride bringing it home. once home i replaced the headlight bulb with an LED bulb before taking a short ride. i racked up 27 miles total

137 miles. Had to the clean the absolute narly dirt from our ride on Friday

Cleaning done. Time to ride. Moved a Tag. Didn’t have to go to old one because of Rule #8. Whatever, just wanted to ride.

200 miles today and just a few days ago on Saturday I did 250 miles.

Today's trip was a spur of the moment unplanned ride with no extra gear. I left the state of Georgia and spent about two hours in South Carolina -- came back well after dark.

Did get a picture to relocate the "tag" for the riding game for the state of South Carolina.

Got two rides in this evening, one on the bicycle,no pictures of that. To beautiful of a evening so took out Lady for about an hour of wandering around my city ended up at the Tsawwassen ferry terminal turned around and took the long way home.

Put the wheel back with new tire. Went for short ride for ice cream. 47 miles later enjoying some libations on patio.
